CSSVG ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website cssvg.com and the CSSVG Editor (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

- Account data — email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
- Project data — SVG animation scenes you create and save to the cloud.
- Project name — the name you assign to your project.
2b. Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and error logs to help us improve the Service.
- Device data — browser type, operating system, and IP address.
- Local storage — your project state and preferences are stored locally in your browser for offline use.
2c. Third-party sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Save and sync your projects to the cloud when you are signed in
- Send transactional emails (e.g. email confirmation, password reset)
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
- Improve and analyse usage patterns of the Service
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account and project data are stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on secure cloud infrastructure. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We use HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
5. Cookies and Local Storage
We use session cookies to maintain your authentication state. We also use browserlocalStorageto preserve your editor state between sessions. You can clear local storage at any time via your browser settings.
6. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Export your project data at any time via the Export function in the editor
- Delete your account by contacting us at the email below
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
