By accessing or using CSSVG at cssvg.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page.

2. Description of Service

CSSVG is a free online SVG animation editor that allows users to create, edit, and export SVG animations as CSS keyframe animations, pure SVG files, or React components. Registered users can save projects to the cloud and access them from any device.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of any SVG animations and projects you create using the Service ("Your Content"). By saving projects to the cloud, you grant CSSVG a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and serve Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

You represent that Your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party and does not contain unlawful material.

5. Exported Content

Code and files you export from the Service (HTML, CSS, SVG, React) are yours to use freely in any personal or commercial project without restriction, attribution, or royalty.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code, scripts, or content designed to disrupt the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the Service's API endpoints
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation

7. Intellectual Property

The CSSVG name, logo, editor interface, and underlying software are the intellectual property of CSSVG and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the Service itself without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CSSVG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be zero for free users).

10. Data and Project Storage

Cloud project storage is provided as a convenience. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we recommend keeping local copies of important projects using the Export function. We are not liable for data loss due to technical failures.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your cloud-saved projects will be deleted.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
